CGDC2006 Card games
At the Christian Game Developers Conference in the year of
our Lord 2006 we got our grubby little paws on two new Christian
card games. Okay one is an entire card game, and the other is an
expansion pack. Principality is the expansion pack, and Prophecy
is the brand new one.
Expect the same art in the Choir pack of Principality that was
in the previous game. That is right, more anime style super hot
artwork. The balance is kept perfect with the original pack
(which is a problem in other card games. Thankfully Epos
Entertainment had the foresight to balance the new cards with
the old cards. Click on the picture for a larger view of the
cover card. This is one really cool looking choir.
The artwork on this book of cards (there are a ton of cards with this one) is done in the old Sistine Chapel style. This classic art form works quite well. In fact it can be educational, as pictures from the chapel are used. No worries though parents, as certain aspects have been altered (they are no longer anatomically correct). The gameplay works well, and it based on the major prophets of old. There are also two play modes for this game; one for younger players, an one for older players.
