I did my first FAQ Walkthrough on Dragon Warrior 1 + 2, I figured I would keep following the series, but have to hurry cause others are filling up the spaces on DW3. 09.03.2001 I have updated the FAQ to the point of the sleepy village of Noaniels. The monster medals are up to the first 20, with a few extra. 09.23.2001 I have the walkthrough up to the point of right before Isis. I have almost the first 30 monster medals. 10.12.2001 It's time for an update. I got the FAQ up to the Baharata town, and Dharma temple area. 11.18.2001 I have gotten some more progress, and felt I should update it now(especially with new systems launches). 01.05.2002 Okay I have been working on this a lot lately, apologies for anyone waiting, the Gamecube has been taking up a lot of time. I have the FAQ update to the acquisition of the Change Staff. 03.17.2002 I apologize to everyone that it has taken me this long to do an update to the FAQ. However, it is much farther along, so enjoy. 04.07.2002 I have the FAQ updated to the end of the game, and have just started the secret dungeon. 05.05.2002 I have the FAQ updated to the end of the game, and both of the secret dungeons. I am missing a couple of the monster medals, and may still work on trying to find them. 06.17.2002 I have the FAQ updated to the 160 Monster Medals, and completion of the second secret dungeon. All done. ===================================================================== NOTE: When I list a treasure chest has a certain number of gold, that is the most that I received. Quite often the chests have a differing amount depending on your level, or maybe its just random. NOTE: This game has a day and night cycle. Try every town, and castle once in the day, and once in the night. Different things happen from day to night. If a character won't move at day, search where they stood at night(sometimes you will find interesting things). HINT: If you are running out of Tokens playing Pachisi, an easy way to get more are to fight MummyMan's. They leave Token's sometimes. HINT: If your having trouble getting the Shadower medal outside of Noaniels, then try the basement of the Pyramid. You can face up to three of them at once, and they appear more often. HINT: A Sage is a real good character to have, since they learn the spells of both the Mage, and the Cleric. In addition, a Sage is physically stronger than either of those. You can make a level 20 or higher Jester a Sage, or use a Sage book. HINT: Rotating tiles appear near the end of the game. The black arrows are the key to them. If the black arrow is to the right, then pressing to the right(while standing on the tile) will make you go one space forward. On the same black arrow pointing to the right tile, pressing left will make you go one space backwards. On the same black arrow pointing to the right tile, pressing up will make you go one space to the left. On the same black arrow pointing to the right tile, pressing down will make you go one space to the right. Apply the same concepts(just different directions) to the black arrow pointing to the left tiles. HINT: A lot of people have asked me about what are good characters to have. In my opinion swamping two characters works well. What that means, is this: Build up a Cleric to level 40, and build up a Fighter or Warrior to level 40. The next step is to change the class of the Cleric to a Warrior or Fighter, and change the class of the Fighter or Warrior to a Cleric. That way when they are both back up to level 40, you will have a Warrior or Fighter with magic, and a high hit point, strong cleric. ===================================================================== DRAGON WARRIOR 3 ===================================================================== 1. Secret Dungeon 2 ********************************************************************** DRAGON WARRIOR 3 INTRO There is a small scene in front of a house where people about a baby being born. Start your game, pick your name, and you are standing in a cave. Exit and walk towards the waterfall. A voice says you will meet it soon, but first it asks your real name, and your birthday. It will then tell you your astrological sign. Answer the questions, and then you are teleported somewhere. You are behind a queen who is talking about stealing some jewels. Exit through the stairs, and you hear another conversation. The king is preparing to attack someone from what the queen as told him. The General is not soo sure, but he goes along with it. Talk to the King, and then talk to the Duke. The Duke will quiz you and then you can walk off the screen to return to the waterfall. It was way off in describing me, but that's okay. You then are woken up by your mother in your bed. Search the dresser by your bed for a STRSeed. Your mother takes you to... ALIAHAN CASTLE On the right side of the castle is a secret way in where you can talk to a lady that gives you a travelers gate tip. Head into the castle and then head to the west side to talk to an old man that tells you about Bakota and his special key(that opens all kinds of doors). Head to the north part of the castle talk to the princess. Go in the door to the right side. Walk around on the right side, and take the stairs, the thief Bakota is there and he tells you that some coot in Najimi Tower stole his keys, he also tells you that his keys open any red door. Head back into the castle and head towards the east, walk around on the east and enter the room to your south. There are two barrels there, and they contain (TinyMedal) (Antidote). In the middle is some stairs going upstairs. Go upstairs and head into the room on the west side. There are two dressers (LuckSeed) is in the one. Head to the room on the east side to find out that you need to go west along the coastline to Promontry Cave, that Cave leads to Najimi Tower. Talk to the man by the king to find out that you can get traveling companions at Ruidas Tavern, in the west side of town. The king tells you about your fathers death, and about Baramos. The king also gives you 50g, and a Travelers Armor, 2 Clubs, and a Stick. ALIAHAN TOWN You find out a lot of neat things in town. Day turns to night if you walk around long enough. You can search the well, and go down the rope for the Medal Manor. Search the bookcase for the (Medal Prize List). The master there will take your Tiny Medal and tell you after you bring him 5 total, he will give you a nice prize. In your house on the first floor is two barrels. One of those barrels has a (Herb). Go upstairs and see your grandfather. He has a dresser with (5g) in it. The village of Reeve is to your north. Walk around the tavern to the west, and search that barrel for (25g). In the tavern you can save, and also deposit your gold and items. Go upstairs and register your characters. Then head downstairs to pick them up. Equip your characters, and head outside for some level building. After you have gone outside and walked around until its night, come back to town, and goto the house that is south of the temple(during the day someone was standing in the doorway). Go up stairs and search the first dresser for a (Tiny Medal). What team you decide on is totally up to you. Starting out you should follow the games advice and start with a mage, cleric, and thief. This is the best starting combo in my opinion. But you can have different characters, and more than just three companions. You can only use three companions in battle at any one time. You can always swap them in and out for different situations. OUTSIDE TOWN When you get hurt head back to your house, and your mom will let you rest for free. You can collect some Raven Medals here from the Ravens. You will want to level up all of your characters in this area, so at first stay in the grass. If you go into the forest you will face harder monsters. If it becomes night, you will face more enemies at once. CAVE You should have all your characters between level 3 to level 4 before going to the cave. Head north from the castle, and then head west across the bridge. Head west along the coastline, and then follow the coastline south. The cave will be on the cape. On the first floor of the cave you are in a small room. Head to the opposite corner and take the stairs down. On the second floor follow the path until you have a choice of going north or south. Take the southern path for a room with a chest (Herb). Go back, and this time take the north path. You will eventually come to a treasure chest (Travelers Armor) in the middle of a room with three exits: north, east, and southeast. Take the north path for a treasure chest (56g). Head back to the three intersection and this time take the east path for some stairs up. You are now in... NAJIMI TOWER You will be in the first basement level of the tower. Work your way to the east, and you will come to a four intersection(one counting where you came from). Take the north path, and exit into the first west that you can go into. It will have a room with a chest (32g). Leave this room, and follow the path north, and then east. You will note a locked door to your south at the end, and some stairs to your north. Those stairs lead to the outside on a different land area(just remember that). Head back to that four intersection. The west path leads to some stairs that is in a room with a locked door. The south path leads to some stairs up. These stairs take you to the first floor of the tower. You can also exit the tower from there, and walk around that little island(I don't know why). Head straight north into the middle of the tower. You will eventually run into a statue. Head to the north of that statue and take the first west you can take. You will find a room with some stairs down. Take those stairs. There is a man here who will let you use his Inn for 8g. If you need it, use it. Leave the inn, and then head straight east. You will find a room with some stairs up. Take those stairs to the second floor. Head west, and take the first north that you come to. At the end of this path is two rooms(one to the west, one to the east). Take the room to the west, and enter for a treasure chest (40g). Now take the room to the east, this room has some stairs up to a small room with a chest (Tiny Medal). Now head back to the stairs that brought you to the second floor. This time head to the south. Be careful to not walk off the edge. Eventually you will have to head to the west. Skip the first room to your north, and take the second room to the north. This room will have some stairs to the third floor. Once on the third floor work your way to the north, and at the first intersection take the eastern path. Skip the first room entrance to your south, and take the second room to the south. It has a treasure chest (Warp Wing). Now go back to that room in the south we just skipped. It has some stairs up to the fourth floor. We are now in a room with a nice red carpet, and an old man. Search the bookcase to find (Tomboy Book). Talk to the old man, and he will give you the (Thief key). THIEF KEY Use the thief key to exit out the door to your south. Walk off the edge to exit the tower. Re-enter the tower, and take those stairs down one level. Head straight north through the four way intersection. Work your way north, and finally east to where that red door was at the end of the hallway to the south. Open the door for two chests (AglSeed) (Wooden Hat). Work your way back to the four way intersection. This time take the path to the east, and you will come to a room with some stairs which leads to the dungeon of Aliahan Castle. Head to the room in the west side of the castle that is just north of that little pond. The person there tells you about the Smart Book, and the Scholar's exam. To the far north in the castle you can find the princess, the room to the west of her is where you want to enter. Search the dresser in that room for a (Tiny Medal). The man in that room will tell you about a Magic Bomb that will break the seal on the travelers gate, and that a man in Reeve's is studying Magic Bombs. Head back into the castle, and take the east hallway, work your way around to the south where you can now enter that room. The man there will tell you about Magic Bombs. REEVE Leave Aliahan Castle and head north. Cross the bridge to your west, and then continue heading west until you see some dirt. Head north once you see the dirt. After a little bit north you will see the town of Reeve sitting in the middle of the grass. Man at the Inn tells you to travel to the west and through the mountains for a spring where many heroes start their journey's. Go to the house just northeast of the item shop. Search the bookcase for the (Muscle Book). The home to the east of that house has two vases, one of them has (IntSeed). Go upstairs and check the dresser for (Antidote). Old man there gives you the Magic Bomb. Leave that house and head south. There will be a guy trying to move a boulder, but cant. Move the boulder and then search right under the boulder for (Tiny Medal). SHRINE Head east from Reeve. Head into the mountains and then start heading to the south to work your way through the mountains. Once you are through the mountains head to your east for the Shrine sitting in the middle of the grass. Search the bookcase for a good lesson on Whips and Boomerangs. Search the three vases for (Tiny Medal) (Warp Wing). Talk to the old man. After you admit to having the Magic Bomb he tells you to go to Tempt Cave which is near the Springs SPRINGS Head northeast from the shrine to enter the springs. You will see the springs in that little enclave in the mountains. Once you have entered the Springs, head to the north. You will then see what looks like a small pond(the springs). Walk around it to either the east or the west, and on the north side of the small pond will be some stairs down to... TEMPT CAVE You will probably want to be level 8 to level 9 when you do tempt cave. Walk to the man in the middle of the room. He tells you that this is Tempt Cave, but the stairs are blocked with a wall. Walk to the south, and use your Magic Bomb on the wall, step back; then enjoy the wall exploding. Walk south through the hole. There is a chest and some stairs. Open the chest for (Magic Map). Take the stairs down. Once on the second floor head north through the first two intersections. You will come to a major pitfall in the middle of the path. Take the room to the east. This will head east, and then north, and finally west right back to the same path you were just on(with the pitfall). Head north again until you reach the wall with a west, and east path choice. Head to the west path for a chest (Antidote). Now take the east path. Ignore the first south, and continue east. Take the second south down for a long ways, and it will eventually head west. You will be back in the main path again but this time way far south. Head to the north and take the first west for a treasure chest (Knife). Head north again and take the next west. This will eventually head north and have a set of stairs. Take those stairs. You will now be on the third floor down(different than the fall through part). There are three paths here: south, southeast, and southwest. You want to take the southwest path to the travel gate. Note: If you fall into any of the pitfalls on the second floor to the third floor, the stairs back up are in the middle of the third floor room, and they take you one intersection north of the stairs you took to get onto the second floor in the first place. HIDDEN SHRINE Exit the travelers gate through the red door, and then take the stairs. You will now be outside a shrine surrounded by trees and grass. Walk north and you will be back on the map screen, and when you walk away you see no difference between where you just were, and your surroundings, make not of where you came from. To your north is a castle. Head to... ROMALY TOWN In the downstairs of the Item and Armor Shop is the monster stadium where you can bet on which monsters will win. It is only 100g to buy a ticket. At the Inn is a room on the first floor, search the dresser for a (MoonHerb). Go upstairs in the Inn and search that dresser for an (Antidote). The village of Kazave is far to the north(lady in Temple will tell you). Search the dresser at the temple for (Toughness). (Smart Book) is in the middle bookcase by the dresser. The house to the west of the temple has two vases search them for (Tiny Medal). (Leather Hat) is in the dresser of the same house. Come to Romaly Town at night, and search the space in the northeast corner where the dog was. To the north of the town is... ROMALY CASTLE Enter the castle and start searching. To the northwest corner is some stairs, use them and talk to the woman there about the wind, she will tell you about Shampane Tower far to the West of Kazave. To the northeast corner of the castle is some stairs, take those and eventually you will get to a room that has a dresser. Search it for a (Token). Search the bookcase there for (Cheat Book). The king will tell you about your experience and then let you save. He will then have a request. He will tell you that a thief by the name of Kandar has stolen the Golden Crown, if you could get it back for him, he would recognize you as a hero. SHRINE(NORTHWEST OF ROMALY) Go north from Romaly Castle. Hug the coast to your west until you see the shrine to your northwest. Enter and find out that this will lead to a new land. But you need the magic key first, and you have to find it for yourself. PACHISI SHRINE Head north from Romaly Castle, and you will run into what looks like a shrine. It is a mini game instead. Walk in, and this guy will fall down in front of you, and he will claim that he will win one day. Head to the east and talk to the man there. Walk up to the pedestal and search it for a (Token). You can go upstairs and try and Pachisi game if you like. At the end of the game(if you win) is two treasure chests. You will win (Steel Sword) (500g). You can decide if its worth your while or not. KAZAVE Head north from Romaly. Once you run into some mountains head northwest through the mountains, and through the pass you will find Kazave. Exit the temple on the right side of it for a graveyard, and final grave has a (Tiny Medal). Talk to people in the tavern to find out about a sleeping village. The old man in the middle of the town tells you about the item shop having a Poison Dagger. At the inn check the dressers for (Token). Come back to town at night. Enter the item shop through the red door. In the dresser is (Boxer), and in the shop itself is two chests (Club) (Poison dagger). Also at night go back to the graveyard, and find the ghost of that great warrior. He admits that he did not kill bears with his bare hands, but had an Iron Claw. SHAMPANE TOWER Head west from Kazave, then south west until you find a bridge. Cross the bridge and head southwest from it for Shampane Tower. On the first floor of the tower head to the north, and work your way around until you are given a choice of an east path, a northwest path, and a southwest path. The southwest path leads to a chest (430g). The northwest path leads to a man that tells you the name of the tower. The east path leads to the stairs up to floor two. From the second floor stairs go north a little and exit the room to the west. From there head to north until the edge, and then head to the east, and you will see a room entrance to the south. Enter that room for some stairs to the third floor. From the third floor stairs head to the east, and then north for a room entrance, enter that room, and at the north part of the room is a chest (Bronze Shield). Head back to the stairs, and then head west, you will see a room entrance to the north. In that room is a man that tells you many different bands thieves use this tower. Pass that room, and then head north along the wall. When you come to edge go east, and walk right into the wall for a room. This room will have stairs to the fourth floor. From the fourth floor stairs head to the south along the edge until you come to a red door to your southeast. Enter that door, and go to the north for some stairs to the fifth floor. Head south from the fifth floor stairs where two thieves will see you. They will run off to the south. To the south is some stairs to the sixth floor. Take those stairs, and to your north will be Kandar and three men. Kandar will launch a trap on you. You will drop back to the fifth floor. Take the stairs to the sixth floor again, and walk off the edge to the north part of the screen. Notice the treasure chests are now empty :( When you land Kandar will be to your south. Talk to them to fight them. KANDAR FIGHT Have a mage cast Increase 3 to 4 times to make this an easy battle. Take out the Goons one at a time, and then concentrate on Kandar. He is rather easy as long as you follow that pattern. After the battle Kandar will beg for his life. Go ahead and let him go. He will give you the crown and run off. BACK TO ROMALY CASTLE Return to Romaly Castle with your prize. Talk to the king, and he is so happy with you, that he acknowledges you as a hero. He will then offer you his kingdom. He is rather persistent. So you now become king, and you have lost all of your party, and can no longer access most of your menus. You can walk around and talk to everyone. You have rejuvenated the kingdom, and the guards want you to stay in the castle. To return to normal go to the monster stadium and on the southwest side you will find the king gambling. Tell him you are unhappy, and tired of being king. He will reset things to normal. NOANIELS Head north from Kazave to find Noaniels the town where everyone is sleeping. House in the southwest corner check the vase for (AglSeed). Go upstairs and check the second bookcase for (Tragic Book). Talk to the man there that begs you to find the Dream Ruby and give it back to the elves who are to the east in the forest near a cave. At the inn search the upstairs room's dressers for (Moonherb) in the first room, and (Kilt) in the third room. The house northeast of the Inn has a vase with (StrSeed) in it. ELVENHAM Go west from Noaniels, and eventually you will enter a forest, keep going west until you see a clearing in the forest north of a cave. Enter that clearing for the town of Elvenham. Most everyone in town is afraid of you. The king of the elves tells you that his daughter the princess fell in love with a human man from Noaniels and they ran off together with the Dream Ruby. They have not been seen since. The father of that human is also in this town. He tried to apologize, but it did no good. CAVE SOUTHEAST OF ELVENHAM Just a little southeast of Elvenham is a cave. Enter it. From the stairs go south, and take the first west for a chest (288g). Continue on south, and take the next west for a priest that will tell you that somewhere in this cave is a spring that refreshes you. Continue on south again, it will take a twist to the east, and then you will be given a choice between north and south. Take the north path for a chest (Repellent). Now follow the south path until it ends with another of two choices, one west and one south. Take the south path, and take the stairs down. After another set of stairs you will be in a room that has a chest (Tiny Medal). Go north of the chest for some stairs back up, after another set of stairs back up, you will come to a room with some stairs down(this is the west path from the earlier choice). Take the west most stairs down(you just came up the east most stairs). This is the room with the Springs. You will have to walk all the way around the four pillars, but stand on the blue space, and it will heal your HPs and MPs. Work your way back and take the path to the west, it will swing to the north, walk all the way to the far north wall. There will be an east path, and a west path. Take the east path for a chest (Str Seed). Take the west path for a chest (Spear). After getting those treasures head back to the south. The first path to the west that comes up is what you want to take. It will swing south, and you will enter a room to the south with some stairs down. Take these stairs. On the next floor take the path around until you reach an intersection with some stairs right in the middle of it. Ignore the stairs down. Take the south path, and it will end with a choice of east of west. Take the east path for a chest (Rosary). Go back to the stairs intersection and this time take the west path. Continue west until you have the choice of north or south. Take the north path, which will work its way around and go south. Go all the way south for a chest (224g). Head back to the north until you have an exit to the east. You will now be just south of where you had the north south intersection choice you just found. Head south and take the last east for a chest (Token). Leave this room, head to the north, and take the next east for a room with a chest (Leather Dress), and some stairs down. Work your way around for a chest surrounded by some pillars. Open the chest for (Dream Ruby). There is also a nice note from the Elf Princess. DREAM RUBY AND WAKE DUST Take the Dream Ruby to the Elf King. He takes it and gives you the (Wake Dust). He also tells you to take the wake dust to the village and remove the curse. Walk into the town of Noaniels and use the wake dust. It wakes up all the villagers. You can now talk to them. The inn has the most interesting people that tell you your father Ortega was there just yesterday(well that was years ago). And that Ortega was on his way to Ashalam which is to the east of Romaly. ASHALAM Head northeast from Romaly Castle hugging the coastline. Then once you enter the forest head east(again hugging the coastline to your south). You will come to a bridge to your east. Cross that bridge. Stay on the grass and head to the east for a bit, when you reach the mountains start heading south. Continue south until you see the town to your southeast. At the inn in the southwest room search the dresser for (Bug Powder). There is an item shop, and an armor shop here that asks too much money for everything, but they will settle for one fourth of the price. A knight in the north house tells you to go south through a desert, walk along the mountains; there will be a cave in a swamp. A man in that cave knows about a magic key. Ashalam at night is a different place. The weapons shop is now open. A woman near the middle of town offers a massage. Agree to it, and follow her. She takes you into a house, and will make the lights go out(doesn't matter what you answer). Her father will do the massage. After they are done head to the west room where the man is. Search the dresser for a (Token). CAVE NORTHEAST OF ASHALAM A little northeast of Ashalam in the forest is a cave. There is only one way to go, and you will eventually come to a red door. Open it and continue on. When the path ends, take the exit to the north. You will come to a well. You can enter the well and go down. After you come back up from the well head to the west. You will meet Norud the hobbit. He is not friendly. There are two treasure chests near him (Club) (Training Armor). PACHISI TRACK SOUTHWEST OF ASHALAM A little southwest of Ashalam is a Pachisi Track. When you enter the building to the east will be the stairs up(the stairs up is on one of four tiles surrounded by colored tiles). On the west side is also four tiles surrounded by colored tiles. Search the lower right tile on the western side for a (TinyMedal). This one goes around in a circle, and has warp points throughout. Hit the warp point to go into the middle of the circle and really close to the goal. There is an inn on the game track(it costs 100g). There is also a store on the track which has a Skirt(1500g), Steel Sword(1300g), and Mist Wand(3300g). If you search in certain parts you will find a TinyMedal, and Token, along with differing amounts of gold(I forgot exactly where). At the goal you will get two treasure chests (TinyMedal) (Mace). HOUSE SOUTH OF DESERT Go southwest from Ashalam. You will be on the grass, and as you head southwest you will have forest to your south, and mountains to your north. After a little ways you will come to the desert to your west. Enter the desert, and then head south. You will reach some mountains, and follow the mountains while heading to the west. There will be a little enclave to your south, and that's where the house is. The old man there tells you that the magic key is in the Pyramid, which is north of Isis(Isis is also near the oasis). He tells you to visit Isis before going to the Pyramid. The old man's house has some nice gifts for us. Second bookcase has (Tomboy book). The second dresser has (Token). The second vase has a (Tiny Medal). ISIS TOWN Head a little north from the house south of desert, and then turn to the west. After a little ways going to the west you will see the oasis. Enter the oasis from the southwestern side. This town has a monster stadium just north of the entrance. Enter the house north of the western item shop, search the far dresser for (Boxer). Enter the well in this town, and at the bottom is a chest (Brave Book). House in the southeast corner has a vase, search it for (TinyMedal). Be careful in the Pyramid because magic does not work in some spots. Come back at night, and you can enter Sokra's home(east of the inn). On the first floor is a hanging sack, search it for a (Token). On the second floor search the bookcase for a (Smart Book). ISIS CASTLE As you enter the castle head to the west. There will be a hole between the pillars, and the wall, enter it. Go north right along the wall, until you reach an entrance into the castle. Head north until there is some stairs down at the end of hallway. Take those stairs. Head towards the east, and take the long hallway to the north, enter the stairs down in front of the tomb. You will now be in a nice room with a chest to the north. Open the chest for the (Starry Bracelet). A ghost will appear and ask if you are the one disturbing him. Say yes. He will the ask if you took what was in the chest. Say yes. He will let you keep it because you were honest. Go back towards the castle entrance. When you reach the spot where you are following the wall, and have pillars to one side, you will notice a hole in the wall. You can walk through the hole, and walk along the wall on the outside. All the way at the end will be a man that tells you the Starry Bracelet is in this castle. Head back to the castle entrance, and this time head straight north to enter the main castle interior entrance. Go to the room in the lower east, and search the bookcase for (Defy Book). Room just north of it, search the left dresser for (Token). Head towards the middle, and enter the stairs up. To the east of the queen(who is in the middle) is a room with two boys. One will sing a song that solves a puzzle in the Pyramid. He sings: "Round buttons are magic buttons. Round buttons open a door. From west of east, to east of west. From west of west, to east of east." You can go to the queen and save your game like any king. PYRAMID Try and have at least two of your characters level 17-18+ for the Pyramid. Head straight north from Isis, and you will run into the Pyramid. Head north from the entrance, and stay away from the middle tiles at the intersection. They have sinkholes that drop you down a level. On that level you will not be able to use magic. If you fall, head towards the southeastern corner for stairs back up(those stairs will take you just outside the pyramid in the southeastern corner). At the first intersection there will be a north, east, and west. The east and west both have empty treasure chest, so head north. You will come to another identical looking intersection(again stay away from the middle and walk around). This time north is a dead end. The west path has three treasure chests. The bottom one is a Canniox, the middle one is also a Cannibox, and the top one is empty. If you feel like killing some Cannibox's then take that west path. The right way to go forward is the east path. Take the east path to a statue, then go north to the stairs. Once you are on the second floor, go west. Take the very first south that you come to. Then take your first west. At the next intersection go straight on through to the west. When you reach the end of the path, at the wall, head north. This will lead to some stairs down. There is two chests right in front of you. The left one is a Cannibox, and the right one is empty. Go west for a chest (Tiny Medal). Head back to the stairs, and go up. Then head back to that last intersection where you started heading north, and go south. Go all the way to the bottom. At the end is a chest (IntSeed). Go north from the chest, skip the first path to the east, and take the second path to the east. At the next intersection head to the south. Go south all the way to the wall. Once you hit the wall, go to the east. You will come to some stairs up to the third floor. Take these stairs. Go the east, and stay to the south, you will come to an area with two buttons to your south. Walk to the west one, and press the button. Now head back to the stairs, and take the west path. Again when given the choice keep to the south. You will run into an identical looking room on the west side. It will also have two round buttons. This time walk to the west most button, and press it. Then walk over to the other button on this side, and press it. Now head back to the stairs, and head all the way to the far east side, and press the finally remaining button(its the eastern most button). After you press it, there will be a huge grating sound. Now go back to the stairs, and take the north path. At the end will be two chests. The right chest is (Magic Key), and the left chest is (VitSeed). Go back to the stairs, and take either the west or the east path(it does not matter which one), and when given the choice, take the northern path. It will eventually lead to stairs up. Once on the fourth floor, head towards the center. There will be a door to your south, now that you have the magic key you can open it. Open it, and head south. There will be a statue surrounded by treasure chests. Each of these treasure chests will have 4 Mummyman's attack you when you open it. Starting from the upper left corner and going clockwise (176g) (Warp Wing) (StrSeed) (80g) (AglSeed) (112g) (Skirt) (304g) (Ruby Ring) (56g) (Tiny Medal) (Stone Wig). The Stone Wig is cursed. South of the 12 treasure chests is some stairs up. Take them to the fifth floor. Open the magic key door. There is a chest to your north (Flashy Shirt). To the west of the chest is some stairs up. Take them, and once you do you will be on the outside of the Pyramid. Walk to the west, and then right up to the edge. Search on that last space for a (Tiny Medal). You can walk off the ledge to exit the Pyramid(much shorter than walking all the way back) :o) MAGIC KEY Aliahan Castle: On the first floor on the northwestern side is a room. It has six treasure chests (Lune Staff) (Str Seed) (AglSeed) (128g) (336g) (Hero Ring). Romaly Castle: First floor in the far middle north, open the door, and talk to the knight. He will tell you about Portoga, and ships. Ashalam town: Northeastern house use magic key, go up the stairs. Search the bookcase for (Joke book). Talk to the man about hobbits, and king of Portoga. Come at night, and see the cat is really a Demonite to kill. Near the Demonite is four diamonds on the floor. Search the upper right one for a (TinyMedal). Isis Castle: During the day, on the first floor in the far north along the middle is a door. Open it and talk to the man about his brother. Now you want to come back to Isis Castle at night. At night go to the northeast corner on the first floor, and open the four chests (Tiara) (TinyMedal) (80g) (LifeAcorn). Now go to the northwest corner of the first floor, and open that door for four chests (72g) (IntSeed) (Ruby Ring) (Silk Dress). Now go to the second floor, and open the door to the west of the queen's throne. This is her bed chambers. She will tell you that she is happy you came to her, and has a surprise near her bed. Directly behind her at the head of the bed search, and you will find (Wizard Ring). She will tell you to leave if you talk to her after finding the Wizard Ring. Northwest of Romaly Castle is a shrine. Open the magic key door there, and take the stairs. Walk under the channel, and take the stairs. Open the door, and exit this shrine. You will now be on the other side. Now head towards... PORTOGA Once you have exited the shrine, head east a little ways, and as soon as you can head south, do so. Head south all the way to the cape, and you will see the Castle of Portoga. Dresser at the Inn(right room) has a (Token) in it. People tell you that the king loves pepper, and a country to the east has pepper. Go into the house northwest of the Inn and Shops building; in a hanging sack is a (StrSeed). From this house head to the east, and go just north of the horse. Cling to the walls, and walk north, and then west to go around the castle. Finally head to the south, and at the end will be some stairs down. Search the vase for (TinyMedal). The far bookcase has (Tragic Book). The man there will tell you the story of tragic lovers. In the castle you will hear about a temple to the east that lets you change classes. Talk to the king, he will give you a (Letter) to give to Norud. If you bring him pepper he will recognize you as a hero, and give you a ship. The king will not let you save, but the Duke right beside him will let you save. Southeast of the king is a room with three treasure chests surrounded by harmful tiles. The treasures are (Tattoo) (VitSeed) (Mist Wand). Come back to Portoga at night, and go where the horse was(north of the Inn). The horse is no longer a horse, it is Carlos. He asks you to tell Sabrina that he loves her. NORUD THE HOBBIT Now that you have the letter from the king you need to go see Norud the Hobbit. He is in the cave northeast of Ashalam(I mentioned him earlier). Take the letter to Norud, and use it as an item right in front of him. He will agree and tell you to follow him. He will head south of the well. He will tell you to wait there. He will then open the way to south by ramming the wall three times. You can now go south from this screen, it will work around, and you will be on the other side of the wall. Continue on to the east until you come across some stairs going up. You will now exit the mountains and be on the eastern side of them. Prepare for some harder monsters. BAHARATA Once you exit from the east side of Norud's cave, head to the south. You will come across a plus sign lake. Go just to the east of it, and keep going south. When you are in a huge grass plain the town of Baharata will be in the southeastern corner. Use your magic map if your having problems. Once in town south of the armor shops is the pepper shop, but the owners daughter was abducted, so you can't buy any pepper right now. On the second floor of this shop, search the first dresser for (Travelers Shirt). The owner of the shop is south of the pepper store, and talk to him to find out about the kidnappers, and his daughter being in love. Her fiancee leaves. In the far room at the Inn has a (TinyMedal) in it. The kidnappers are in a cave across the bridge near town. In the house south of the Inn, search the dresser for a (Token). DHARMA TEMPLE Head east from Baharata town, cross the bridge to the east. Head to the north, and pass the bridge that will be to your northwest. Instead keep heading north until you run into water. At that point head to the west, and go between the water and the mountains. Follow the mountains west, and then north, and you will see Dharma Temple. The man on the outside of Dharma Temple will let you save. Do not go in the door yet. If you head around on the east side, you will come to a small room with stairs. The stairs lead to a temple and an Inn. The Inn only costs 8g. After you are done exploring the east side, you can go to the west side. At the far northwestern corner is a lady that will let you rename the names of any of your characters. Now you can head inside the temple. A lot of different people tell you what they are planning on changing into. In the upper right, and upper left corners are men that will explain all about changing classes. They also give some good advice. In the middle is the priest that will let you change classes. You must be at least level 20, and your hero is not allowed to change. KIDNAPPER'S CAVE Head east from the town of Baharata, and cross the bridge. After crossing the bridge head north. After a short bit a bridge will appear to your west. Cross the bridge to your west, and you will see the cave to your west. From the stairs go west. Then take the north exit. Keep going north until you reach a room with two treasure chests. The north chest is a Cannibox, and the east chest is (352g). Take the west path, and in this room will be a treasure chest (Tiny Medal). Go west for a room with two more chests; the north one is (132g), and the west one is a Cannibox. Open the door to the south, and go south. Go one more screen south for a soldier who is lost in the maze of this place. Now go one screen to the west. Go down south all the way to a room with one treasure chest (VitSeed). Now go all the way to the west, until you reach the last room which will have some stairs down. On the second floor down, head west. Ignore the path to the south(for now), and go all the way to the west. At the end will be a door to your north. Open it, and go into the room in the north. This room has four treasure chests (AglSeed) (LifeAcorn) (StrSeed) (IntSeed). Go back and take that south path now. As you enter four goons will see you. They ask if you want to join them. Tell them no to fight them(its the only real choice you have here). After killing them, check the hanging sack on the west wall for a (Token). Head south, and then to the west for a lever that will open the door and release the two prisoners. Talk to them as they run in a circle, and they will head to the north. Heal up NOW! As you go north out of the prison you will notice that Kandar is blocking the couple from leaving. Talk to Kandar to fight him. As the last battle with Kandar you want to kill his companions first. Be sure to cast Increase on your characters so Kandar's attack does less damage; also casting Blazemore does a lot of damage on Kandar. After beating Kandar you are given the choice of giving him mercy or not(you have to give him mercy again, and let him go again). GARUNA TOWER(optional) To reach Garuna Tower head north of Dharma Temple. You will eventually have to head to the east, and in a small grass plain you will see the tower. Once in the tower head to the west. Head to the south for a room with a lady. Talk to her, and then exit this room heading east, while hugging the south wall. Enter the next room to the south for a chest (IntSeed). Exit this room and head to the west. Ignore everything to the south, and at the end head to the north. You will notice stairs to your east and west. Ignore both of those and continue to the north. At the wall head to the east, and then take the first north. You will right outside the tower walls. To your west is a small room with stairs up. Take those stairs up. Head to the east, and you will see a rope. Carefully cross the rope across to the other side, and take the stairs down. Back on the first floor, head to the west for a travelers gate. Enter that gate. From this spot(you have been teleported to somewhere else in the tower), head to the east. You will come to an intersection with the choice of north, south, or east. First head to the north. You will see some stairs. Take them. After a couple of stairs, you will come to a chest (448g). Head back down to the three intersection, and this time take the south path. Again after a couple of floors of stairs you will come to a chest (TinyMedal). Head back to the three intersection again, and this time take the east path. Again you will find a set of stairs. Take them. Head to the west, and you will have a choice of north, and south, with both having a set of stairs at the end. Take the south path, and the stairs to the south. After a couple of floors you will come to another rope. Carefully cross it. On the other side of the rope will be stairs to your north, and south. Take the south stairs for a chest (Silver Headgear). Head back to the rope, and cross back to the east side. However before you cross totally, I would say around 4-5 paces from the eastern edge; drop off the edge(either north or south, it does not matter). You will be back on the first floor. Head to the west for a room with a chest near a hole to the western side of the room. Open the chest for (Zen Book). PEPPER Return to Baharata, and go to the Pepper Shop. They gladly give you some pepper for free. Alright!! Return to Portoga, and see the king. He is so happy that you gave him pepper that he gives you his ship. The ship is just south of the castle in the docks. Sail straight south to exit the town. Sail south from Portoga, and you will notice some land, and something that looks like a shrine to your south. Head for it, and when you enter it, you will be in the... LIGHTHOUSE Go up all the stairs, and then you will finally come to a man to talk to. He says: "Sail south down along the coast. Round the cape of Fedanki. Far to the capes east is Lancel. And beyond it is Aliahan. Far to the north of Aliahan s Zipangu(country of gold)." He will also tell you of the six orbs. LANCEL Sail south from Portoga, follow the coast, and at the cape head east. Using your magic map really helps with this navigation. The big house in on the eastern side, has some interesting items. Search the vase for (5g), and there is a (Token) in the dresser. Go to the right of the weapons shop to find the HUGE TEMPLE. Search this area thoroughly. In a small path on the eastern side is a slime, he tells you if you have a hidden herb, go to the castle of Edinbear. Please note the area on the west where you talk to the slime. On the east side is the same design. Walk to spot where the slime would be(if he were on the east side), and search there for a (TinyMedal). Right now we can't get into the temple, be patient. LUZAMI Southeast of Aliahan castle is a small island(use your magic map to find it). Search the gravestone for a (LuckSeed) near the item shop that sells nothing. In the house to the northeast corner is some bookcases, search them for (Muscle Book) and (Lucky Book). To the right of this house is some bricks, right in the center of them is a hole. Search that hole for (TinyMedal). The man looking through the telescope(southeast house), tells you to go north, and find a grass patch in the ice. He claims an old man lives there. This town is where you also will find out the Demon Lord's temple is deep in the mountains of Gonde. Hurl Gaia sword into a volcano to reveal a new path. The item shop man tells you that the Gaia sword once belong to Simon. LAMIA SHRINE In the southwest corner of the map is a land of ice. In the top middle you can see one patch of grass inland. This is the six orb shrine. If you get all six orbs, then the egg will hatch. The egg houses the legendary bird Lamia. ZIPANGU Travel to Dharma, and either save, or goto the Inn. Leave Dharma, and get on your boat(just to the south). Sail south, and east through the river until you exit into the ocean. From this spot head east, you will run into three small islands. The northeastern one will have a shrine and a cave on it. The shrine is actually the town of Zipangu. Search the dresser in the first house to the west for (Cloth). West of that house is some stairs down, take those stairs. You are now in a huge room with vases. Southwest of the stairs is three vases (Str Seed) is in the top one. East of the stairs along the wall is (TinyMedal). Last one in the middle has a human head. It is Yayoi, she is hiding because she is going to be sacrificed. House north of this basement has a vase. Search that vase for (Mystic Nut). Search the lower hanging sack for (Bug Powder). In the house east of the well, search the dresser for (Wooden Hat). In Himiko manor, head to the west side, and then north. Search the last vase on the right side for (Mystic Nut). Then head to the east side of the manor. The middle vase on the right side has (TinyMedal). Last vase on the left side has a (Str Seed) in it. Now head to the northmost room on the eastern side. There will be a lot of dressers here. The last dresser on the right right has (Training Suit), and the next to last one on the left hand side has (Scale Shield). Himiko is in the middle chamber of her manor. She orders you to do nothing meddlesome. OROCHI CAVE From the entrance stairs, head west. It will eventually twist to the south. Ignore the empty room to your west, and then farther down the empty room to your east. Continue on your way south. You will come to a choice of southeast, or southwest. Take the southwest path. It will then twist around to the east. A path to the north will open up. Take it(the eastern path is another empty room). When you go north you will enter a large room. In the northeast corner is a room with a treasure chest (Noh Mask). In the northwest corner of this room is some stairs to the second floor down. Head north from the stairs. You will come to an intersection where you can go north, east, or west. The west path is empty, and the north path only leads to bones. Take the eastern path. You will cross a bridge, and then head east a little more, and then turn north to see the Orochi. Walk right up to the monster to start the fight. This will probably be your first tough battle. A good team, is your hero, a mage(or sage), a cleric, and a fighter. Cast Increase on yourself, and Defense on the Orochi(Defense may only work once). You can try sleep, it works sometimes. I had my hero, and fighter keep attacking, while the mage kept casting Increase, and the Cleric healed everyone. The only bad attack the Orochi had was the spewing of fire. After you kill it the first time, you get (Orochi Sword). Equip the hero with this sword. The Orochi retreats into a travelers gate. Note: If you go back to town, the Orochi will respawn in the same spot, and next time you kill it, you will not receive another Orochi sword. However the Orochi sword is more powerful, so you may want to do that. Whether you decide to return to town, or straight follow the Orochi, you will eventually follow it. When you do, you will be transported to Himiko's Mansion, and she has been hurt bad. She wants you to keep her secret, tell her no to fight her. This second fight is a little harder, the Orochi now seems to have two attacks per turn. Use the same strategy to win. After you beat Orochi the second time, word spreads of Himiko, and there is a chest there. Open the chest for (PURPLE ORB). Talk to the people in town, you find out that far to the south is a sacred river, and there are hide herbs there. You can take the Purple Orb to Lamia Shrine and place it on a pedestal. TOWER EAST OF ZIPANGU Sail east from Zipangu, and then north for the tower(you can see it from the ocean). Go north through the door, go east(or west, it does not matter). Open the door and continue north. Eventually there will be a door to the south. Go east or west next(again it does not matter). Work your way around for the room entrance on the south side for four sets of stairs. Take the lower left hand stairs. Walk the path to the west, and then north for some stairs up. On the next floor take the stairs up just to your east. Then walk to the far east corner for some stairs up. Head straight south(across some rope) for a treasure chest (Cannibox). Use the ropes to head to the west for another treasure chest (TinyMedal). Head west again for another chest (Love Ring). Head to the middle of the ropes, and drop into the middle. You will land on a small platform with four treasure chests. They contain: (Echoflute) (552g) (LifeAcorn) (TinyMedal). The Echoflute is a nice tool to use to help find the orbs. If an orb is nearby, use the Echoflute, and it will make a sound. PIRATES HOUSE East of Aliahan is a large continent. On this continents southeast corner is what looks like a town. This is the pirates house. On the east side(outside the house) is a rock. Push it, and then search right under it. Secret stairs will appear. Take the stairs for a small room with 3 treasure chests in it. The chests contain (Punk Ring) (Str Seed) (RED ORB). Inside the pirates house search the northwest room. The dresser has (Tube Socks). Just east of that room is a room with 3 vases, and 3 barrels. The middle barrel has a (TinyMedal). The far right, and far left vases have a (Token) each in them. The house is empty at daytime, come back at night to talk to the pirates. At night, the pirates come back, so you can talk to them. You will hear of a small island to the south, of ghost ships, and an old man in Greenland. Go and see the captain. It is a woman, and she asks if you think its funny that a woman commands. Tell her yes. She will then tell you about the small island of Luzami. OLD MAN(TOWN IN THE MAKING) Sail north from the pirate's house. Be sure to hug the coast. Far to the north will be a forest with one space of grass in it. Go into that space. There will be a small lake, and a run down house. The old man there tells you of his aspirations to create a town, but he needs a dealer. So go get your dealer, or create a new dealer, and go back to him. He will ask you to leave your dealer, go ahead and let him. Your dealer will stay, and the old man will thank you, and tell you about the secret village of Soo in the middle of this continent. GREENLAND On the northeastern most island on the map(its mostly ice), is a patch of grass surrounded by ice right in the middle of the island. Go into it. Go 25 paces north, and then head east. After aways, you will reach a house. The left dresser has a (TinyMedal) in it, and the right dresser has a (Silk Hat) in it. Talk to the old man, he will tell you that he has not seen anyone since the pirates came and left him a bone. He will also ask you if you have heard of the change staff. It allows you to change your look, and supposedly the Samanao's king has it. Once you have the final key, you can go into the traveler's gate to get to meet him. The old man would like that staff. EDINBEAR CASTLE Edinbear Castle is on one of the northwestern most islands on the map. The only way to get past the guard is to use a Hide Herb, and then walk right past him. Once you are inside you have no reason to worry about who might see you. For some fun, head to the first room to the left, and talk to the guard there(while you are still invisible). He will think he is hearing things. Head to the second room on the left, there are some stairs down. This room will have a puzzle(bear in mind if you mess up the puzzle, just head up the stairs, and come back down to reset it). There are three boulders here, and three diamond colored squares to put them on. Start out by pushing the left most boulder straight north. Then walk around, and move that same boulder as far east as it will go(it will be just north of the middle boulder). Walk around, and move the right most boulder south one space. Then move the middle boulder one space to the west. Now you can move(what was the left most boulder) north into the area where the boulders belong. Walk around so you can get below the middle most boulder. Move it north, and then walk around to move it east, and then move it north into the area where the boulders belong. Now walk around to get south of the right most boulder. Move it north, then all the way west, and walk around to move it north, then walk around and move it all the way east, and then move it north into the area. Once you have gotten all the boulders on the diamond colored squares, then walk to the north most wall in this room for an opened secret door. Walk through this door, and the hallway for a treasure chest (Dry Vase). Now that you are done with the puzzle, walk around the castle, and start exploring. You will be told the use of the Dry Vase(it will dry up the sea to reveal a sunken shrine. This is in the Shoals). On the left hand side of the castle is a door to the outside. A kid there will tell you about the final key(it is in a shrine). To the right of the kid is some flowers in the shape of a square. In the grass inside the square(right side) is a (Tiny Medal). In the far right room on the first floor is two dressers (Dandy Shirt) (Party Dress), and the bookcase has (Lady Book) in it. UNDERWATER SHRINE Sail south of Aliahan, and you will run into 7 rocks protruding from the sea(this is also southwest of Greenland). Use your Dry Vase here, and the Underwater Shrine will be raised from the sea floor. Enter the shrine(from the south side), and walk straight north to the treasure chest. Open the chest for (Final Key). Walk north from the treasure chest, and open the door to talk to the skeleton. He tells you that south of the Isis desert in the mountains of Gondo gapes the Giana Pit. Giana Pit is where the evil is coming from. FINAL KEY Grass spot northwest of Aliahan has a small house in the upper right corner that has a travelers gate. This goes to the Lighthouse just south of Portoga. Aliahan Castle - in the dungeon you can open the cell doors and talk to the inmates. The man in the first cell tells you about a castle with the Queen on dragons. Search his vase for (Str Seed). The vase in Bakota's cell has (500g). Romaly Castle - The southwest corner has some stairs down. Take those for two chests (Dagger) (Expel Shield). In the northwest corner leads to a door with the prisoner. Talk to him about Kandar. Search the water basin for (Tiny Medal). Ashalam - In the back of the dancing hall is a Final Key door. Open it during the day to talk to the lady who tells you to come back at night. Come back at night to talk to the troupe leader. He tells you that he wants to travel east, but Norud the Hobbit will not show him the way. Portoga - Visit the princess, she will tell you about a river to the east(of sacred water). Lancel - On the right side of the temple is a man that tells you about the Yellow Orb. On the left side of the temple, a man tells you that if you parted ways with a fellow traveler that friend will give you new hope. Finally head to the middle where the priest tells you about taking a challenge alone. Head to the right side first for a chest (TinyMedal). Then head to the left. You will be on the left side of the town, and see a cave to your southwest. Enter the cave for... CAVE OF COURAGE Head to the south, and open the red door. You are now in a repeating maze. Head straight south. The first west exit in this room has a chest (248g), the second west exit has a treasure chest (MIMIC). The first east exit has a treasure chest (TinyMedal), and the second east exit has a treasure chest (IntSeed). Now take the south exit from this room. Walk around, and follow the only path for some stairs down. You are now in a huge room. Head northeast for some stairs up, and follow the path around for a treasure chest (Terra Armor). Head back to the huge room, and now go north for some stairs down. First you will head a little west, and then take the north path. Listen to the masks on the wall, but keep going, eventually you will reach a spot with two treasure chest. The left chest is (TinyMedal), and the right chest is (BLUE ORB). Now you can head back to the temple. Tell the priest that you were lonely, and your friends will rejoin you. VILLAGE OF SOO From the new town, where you left your dealer, head south, hugging the coastline. Take the river that heads into the mainland(it goes north). You will come to a choice of three separate directions, take the middle one. A second time you will come to a choice of three separate directions, and take the middle river again. After a little ways there will be the town to your left. In the old man's house that asks about the town to the west, search his vase for (Agl Seed). The house to the west of Mr. Ed has a vase, it contains (Tiny Medal). Go into the well, and search the dresser for a (Token). TEDANKI VILLAGE Sail north from Lumia shrine, follow the coast to the west. It will turn to the north, and keep hugging the coastline. Take the first river inland to the east, and follow it south, there is the village. Come to Tedanki at night, this is the town where the entire village has been slaughtered, but at night their ghosts come out, and think everything is normal. Visit the man in the jail, and he will give you the (GREEN ORB). The vase to the far right(across the poison ground) has (55g). A guard will tell you about a volcano, go east around horn of Tedanki, hug the coast, and go up the river, then the volcano will be on the left; and the volcano is the key to Gondo. Come back to Tedanki at daytime to get to the upstairs of the weapons shop. The dresser up there has a (Black Hat) in it, and the treasure chest has (Dark Lamp) in it. SHRINE THAT SERVES SAILORS Northwest of Tedanki is a shrine on the coast. This shrine serves sailors(or so the priest tells you). Enter the waygate. Search the first room's dresser for (TinyMedal). The other room's dresser has a (Stick) in it. The Inn here is 60g. SHRINE SOUTH OF GREENLAND A little south of Greenland is an island, on that island is a shrine. There are three waygates here. The left side goes to the Portoga tunnel, the middle one heads to Olivia Cape. The far right one heads to a shrine near Samanao. SAMANAO TOWN Exit the shrine near Samanao, and head north until you hit mountains, and then east, until you hit mountains, and finally south through the forest for the castle of Samanao. The Barrel outside the Inn has a (Token) in it. The temple is empty at day, so head over to the graveyard, and watch Brennan's funeral. He was executed for making fun of the king. In the graveyard: the last row of tombstones(next to last on the right) has a (Tiny Medal) in it; next to the last row of tombstones(next to last on the left) has an (AglSeed) in it; the second row of tombstones(third from the far right) has a (Token) in it. The house southeast of the graveyard has two vases, search them for (StrSeed). The lady behind the stadium tells you the king sleeps on the second floor at night. SAMANAO CASTLE West of the armor shop is the exit from town to the Castle screen. Simon's son is outside the castle walls looking for his father; he has heard his father is imprisoned somewhere. Do not bother trying to enter the castle from the main doors, instead go into the side entrance on the right hand side. You will be in the kitchen, search the barrel for a (TinyMedal). Talk to the king, and he will instantly have you imprisoned. They throw you in a jail cell, but do not take any of your items, use your key to exit your cell. The cell straight north has a poet in there who tells you that Simon rotted in a jail in the lake far northeast of Romaly. Search the vase in this cell for (TinyMedal). The cell on the far north right tells you about the Lar Mirror and the cave southeast of Samanao that it is in. Take the stairs in the south down another level. The cell on the right has the real true king in it. Enter the cell on the left, and then exit on the left hand side. Follow the path, and you will eventually come to some stairs that exit out in the graveyard in the town. Head southeast of Samanao to the... SAMANAO CAVE Once you enter the cave, head to the west, and take the first north that comes up. Some water will appear to your west, hug it while walking around it to the northwest, and finally straight west. Once the first path to the south opens up, take it. At the end of the path will be some stairs down, take them to floor 2. Head to your west, and you will notice some treasure chest. The first chest has (128g), the second chest has (StrSeed), the third chest has (56g), the fourth chest has (Token), the fifth chest has (568g). Then go north for two more chests: (24g) (LifeAcorn). Head east for two more chests (TinyMedal) (320g). Now you can head west for a room with four more chests, but all of them are Mimic's, so its your choice. Either after you kill all four Mimic's, or bypassing the room, head back to the area where all the chests were, and explore the south part of this room. In the southwest will be an exit to a hallway. Enter that hallway. The path will branch into a north and south, take the north way first which has three chests: (VitSeed) (24g) (Token). It will then exit to a room with two chests: (Mimic) left side, and (TinyMedal) right side. Now head back to the pathway branch, and take the south path. The south path has an exit to the east, take it. There will be a path to the north, take it for a chest (Mimic), and then an exit to the north. Take it for two treasure chests (Mimic) left hand side, and (Lifestone) right hand side. Head back down, and continue on to your east for some stairs down to floor 3. Go west and around the water, then north, and finally to the east for that treasure chest (Plush Shirt). Head back to your stairs, there is nothing else of value down here. Return to the big room with a lot of treasure chests in it. Head to the southeast corner, and you will notice a hole in the floor. Fall through the hole to drop down right in front of a treasure chest. Open it for (Lar Mirror). If you have no magic left to exit the cave, you can fall through the hole right behind you, and then take the stairs up, and head to the east to take the stairs up from the third floor. Either way it is time to return to Samanao(you might want to save somewhere, and stay at an inn). LAR MIRROR Return to Samanao at night, using the PassTime spell works best, or walk around until its night. Enter the castle from the right hand side again, and this time work your way to the northeast side of the castle, and go up the tower. You will get to the castle roof, and can enter the door into the kings chamber. The kings chamber has a (Cheat book) in the bookshelf, and the far dresser has a (Club) in it. Use the Lar Mirror on the king. He will reveal himself as a Boss Troll. Prepare for a boss battle. Use TwinHits on your best fighters, and as always cast Increase on yourself, and keep your guys healthy. He gets two attacks per turns. After 5 or 6 rounds you should take him down. Open the chest for (Change Staff). The real king will be back now, and he will let you save. Visit the jail, and go to the path towards the graveyard. Along the way you will run into a prisoner trying to escape. Let him know that everything is okay now. In Samanao town talk to the man in the graveyard and he will tell you about the new town. CHANGE STAFF Take the change staff to Elvenham. Change into a hobbit(remember Norud?), and you can shop at the Elvenham shop. It may take a couple of tries(of using the Change Staff) to get the right one. When you are done here, you can now head to Greenland and trade the Change Staff for the (Pirates Bone). The bone can be used to find the pirate ship. PIRATE SHIP Use the Pirates Bone to locate the pirate ship once you are on the ocean in your ship. Be careful, there are monsters on this ship. Head south, talk to the monster there to fight him(he is a MiniDemon). The barrel near the monster has a (TinyMedal) in it. There are two sets of stairs, take the southern set(it really doesn't matter since both go to the same area). There is a small room just east of the southern set of stairs. This room has 5 treasure chests in it. (128g) (Token) (670g) (Mimic) (Poison Dagger). The second barrel has a (TinyMedal) in it. The front left vase has a (StrSeed) in it. South of this room, is a room with a chest (LuvMemory). Talk to all the ghosts in the north. There is a room up there with three dressers in it. The middle dresser has a (Garter) in it. NEW TOWN(DEALER TOWN) After the pirate ship is a good time to come and see what all has changed in the town that your dealer is building. The theater has two dressers, the left one has (Garter) the right one has (Bunny Hat). Talk to the lady at the inn about the Silver Orb. There is a (Token) inside the bookcase. The mayors house has two chests; the right one has a (TinyMedal) in it, and the left one has a (Gold Beak) in it. OCEAN SHRINE Sail north from Zipangu, head through the ice(that separates the continents). Hug the western coastline. Ignore the first two rivers that go inland. Take the third river inland, notice there will be a shrine to the south. Work your way along the river south and west. Eventually it will open up, and you will need to continue to work your way to the west, there will be a small inlet with a shrine to the south. Go through that inlet. You will be pushed back through by a mysterious voice. Use the (LuvMemory). Two ghosts will appear the cape will no longer be haunted. Sail on through now. Sail west to the little island that has a shrine on it. Enter the shrine for... JAIL SHRINE Talk to all the ghosts here. Head south, and take the first west. Open the cell, and search the vase for (TinyMedal). Head back to that last intersection, and this time head to the south. At the end take the west. Talk to Simon's ghost. He tells you to examine the ground near his corpse. Now take that east path, and open the cell. Search above Simon's corpse for the (Gaia Sword). GAIA SWORD Travel to Ashalam. Then sail south, and hug the western coast. Finally sail to the west, and take the river to the south. You will see a mountain to your southeast. Head for the mountain. Stand in front of the mountain and then use the (Gaia Sword). The volcano will erupt, and create land to the southwest. You can now go back to your boat, and around a little to the southwest. Use the newly created land to go south. Head to the southeast, and there will be a path south in the southeast. Once you are through the mountain pass, then head to the west. In the middle of the forest is a swamp. Stay to the north, and go around it. To your southeast will be an entrance to a path into the mountains. Take that path for a cave. GONDO CAVE Cross the floor to the east, and then north for the stairs up. Head to the west, and keep heading west until there is a room to your west. The room has a treasure chest (TinyMedal). Head back east(hugging the south wall). Take the exit to the east, and then turn to the south. Follow the south path to the west, and you will run into a treasure chest (Thunder Sword). Head a little east, and take the south exit. Head to the west and take the exit to the left for a chest (Blade Armor). Now take the exit that was to the south. Head south for some stairs. Head south from these stairs, ignore the path to the east; instead go all the way to the end. Follow it around, pass the six holes in the floor. Go to the end of the path for some stairs up. Exit from the stairs to the east, and then work your way around to a hole. Drop down a level into a huge hole. Head north for some stairs up, take those stairs. You will be in a small room, exit to the east. Now head to the south. Take the stairs you come to. This new floor you will notice water around you. Head south, and cross the bridge to your east. Head north a little and enter the room to the east. Work your way through the room, and exit to the east. Head north, and then cross the bridge to the east. Head to the south(ignore the first two east room entrance), and take the third east room entrance. In this room take the first south that you come to. Exit this room to the southeast. Walk around to the stairs that are to your northeast. You will now be outside the cave on the other side. Head to the east for... GONDO SHRINE The far right cross has a (Token) in it. The middle cross has a (TinyMedal) in it. The far left cross has a (Token) in it. Talk to the priest there, and he will give you the (Silver Orb). Be sure and take the Orb to Lamia's Shrine. Time to head to your dealer's town. NEW TOWN(DEALER TOWN) Go to the dealer's town, and talk to everyone. You will learn that people are not happy. Walk outside, and have your Sage(or Mage) cast Passtime. Head back into the dealer's town at night. There are three people in the southwest corner of the town talking. Now head to the dealer's mansion, and talk to the guard(he won't let you in). Leave town, have your Sage(or Mage) cast Passtime again. Enter town again(this time in the daylight). Visit your old dealer in jail. He was imprisoned by the people of the town. He tells you to search behind his chair in his mansion. Search behind his chair for the (Yellow Orb). LAMIA SHRINE Bring in the final orb(or all of the orbs if you have not been routinely dropping off the orbs). Use the orbs in front of the pillars, and once you put in the last one Lamia will wake up. It is a pretty neat little scene. Go outside to ride Lamia. Press 'A' to get on Lamia, and press 'B' to make Lamia land. Please note that you can not land on the ocean, or mountains. VILLAGE OF MUOR Fly north of Zipangu, and on the continent you will see a town. Land nearby for the village of Muor. The dresser at the Inn has a (Kilt) in it. Northeast is a magic spring. Most people in this town think you are a Pokapa. In the upper right had corner you can enter the large building, and go up the stairs. The vases have a (Token) and (TinyMedal) in them. You will get (Ortega's Helmet) when you try and go downstairs. Pokapa is your father Ortega. WORLDLEAF Southeast of Greenland is a shrine on the edge of the continent; it is the same one you passed when you were on your way to the ocean shrine. Fly south from there, and you will find a HUGE forest. In the forest is four different mountains. Right in the middle of the four mountains is the space to search for the (Worldleaf). MAGIC SPRING This is totally optional, and honestly not worth your time. Northeast from the village of Muor(on the other continent) is a small lake. Fly over there, and enter the lake on the southern side. Walk up to the lake, your main character will trip and drop his weapon into the lake. The lady of the lake will offer you different weapons, and finally yours. Answer truthful about which weapon was yours and you get a (Stick). Head back a second time, and she will get mad at you for being greedy(as if anyone could be greedy over getting such a lame prize). DRAGON QUEEN'S CASTLE Northeast of the shrine(the same one mentioned in the worldleaf paragraph). This shrine has a hobbit in it, that knew your father Ortega. The Dragon Queen's castle is surrounded totally by mountains. Talk to the Dragon Queen, and she will give you the Light Orb. She will then lay and egg and die. BARAMOS CASTLE East of Gondo's Shrine is Bharata's Castle surrounded by mountains. Fly over, land, and enter the castle. Head towards the eastern side of the castle. Eventually you will come to some water. At that point head towards the west for a door into the castle. Go through the door, and take the stairs up. Work your way to the west for some stairs down. Cast stepguard before crossing the damaging floor. At the end there are some stairs to your west, and stairs to your east. Take the stairs on the east side first. Then take the stairs down for three treasure chests: (Misery Helmet) <-- cursed (Wizard Ring) (Demon Axe). Head back, and this time take the western stairs. You will notice some stairs directly to your south, ignore them. Instead head to the east for some stairs up. Head to the north, then east and take the stairs up. Walk over for some stairs down. Head to your east, and take the door to the outside. To the north will be a door back into the castle, take that door. In this room will be some stairs down, take those. Head to east, and there will some stairs surrounded by damaging floor. Take those stairs down. Baramos is directly to your north. Cast stepguard before approaching him. Go up and talk to him. Get ready for a fierce battle. Your main character should probably be between 35-40 level wise. Strategy for beating him is like every other boss, cast Increase on yourself, and TwinHits on your mainchar, and fighter(or warrior). Let your sage/mage/clerics heal you. Cast Defense on Baramos a couple of times. Heal as needed, and you should win in no time at all. After you beat him, you will be teleported back to Aliahan. Talk to the people, who are all happy that you beat Baramos. Head to the king, and talk to him. He will celebrate your victory. Zoma will appear and kill all the guards in the room. The king will be distraught, but the Duke will let you save. GIANA PIT Just northeast of Ghondo Shrine is a small island with poison all of the spaces but one. Land on this island and enter the center space, you will now be at Giana Pit. Walk into the big hole. You will now be in another world(the world of Dragon Warrior 1, or pre Dragon Warrior 1 to be precise). Dragon Warrior 3 is the prequel to Dragon Warrior 1. Head south into the house. The second dresser has a (LuckSeed) in it. Talk to the people here for some info. Tantegel Castle is to your east. Grab the boat, and sail to the east. Then walk to the east for... TANTEGEL TOWN South of the temple is a small house with stairs up. Take them up, and search the bookcases for (Wimpy Book) (Lucky Book). Talk to everyone in town. Find out about the northern cave and Nail Mark. Visit the temple, and go upstairs to meet Kandar, he tells you about the Sun Stone being in Tantegel Castle. Search the vase for a (Token). In the far southeast of town is a small house, find out about the life ring. The last bookcase hides a (LifeAcorn). When you are finished with the town, follow the main road east(it will eventually turn north). At the end of the road will be... TANTEGEL CASTLE Search the barrels in the kitchen for a (TinyMedal). Talk to everyone in the castle. One of the guards tells you to get: King's Sword, Light Armor, and Hero's Shield to stand a chance against Zoma. Head back inside and talk to the king, whom lets you save, and asks you to save his dark land. For those that have played Dragon Warrior 1. If you remember where you got the sun stone in DW1, head there and talk to the man there. For those who have not played DW1, work your way to the eastern side of the castle. On the far southeast corner will be some stairs down. Talk to that man there. GARIN'S HOUSE Northwest from Tantegel is Garin's house. It is on the most northwestern part of the continent. Talk to his parents to find out that Garin has the Shiny Harp. The dressers have (MohawkWig) and (TinyMedal) in them. Exit the house and follow the path to the stairs. Take them to find out that the treasure chest is empty. (Du-oh). Search to the right side of the treasure chest, and you will find the (Shiny Harp). CAVE SOUTHEAST OF GARIN'S HOUSE Southeast of Garin's House(on the other side of those mountains) is a cave. First thing you should know about this cave is that magic DOES NOT WORK HERE! You have to use items to heal yourself. On the first floor work your way to the southeast corner(there are multiple ways there) for some stairs down. On the second floor work your way around to the northwest corner for some stairs down. On the third floor head north for a door, and some treasure chests. The chests are: first one(960g), second one (Mimic), third one (1016g), fourth one (TinyMedal). There is also a chest along the west wall (Hero Shield). Have your hero equip the Hero Shield. You can fall in that hole in the middle of the room to be spit back out. CAVE SOUTHWEST OF TANTEGEL Head southwest from Tantegel, and use your Pixy Map from time to time to help locate the cave. Work you way south, you will notice a room to your west(it is empty); instead continue south. Both of those items are cursed, so you may want to just ignore this cave altogether. DOMDORA Head south from Tantegel, hug the eastern coastline. Eventually there will be some mountains to your south, at that point head west for a bridge. Cross the bridge, and then turn south. Once you see the desert head east into the desert and you will see the town. If you have trouble use your Pixy Map. Talk to all the people in Domdora, they have some good information for you. Go south from town, cross the bridge, and then head east for Mercado. Oricon is supposed to be in this town. Upstairs in the inn is a dance in the southern room, search her dresser for (Bunny Tiara). On the south side of town is a sneezing man, search his vase for (TinyMedal). Search his second bookcase for a (Joke Book). Head east from his house for the stables/pasture. In the farthest east stable is a (TinyMedal), search for it. Look in the middle of the grass in the pasture for (Oricon). There is a man you can talk to in the well. Search the bookcases for (Kindly Book), (Lady Book), (Smart Book), (Hero Book), and (Defy Book). Enter the large building in the middle of town, from the southwestern side of the building. Exit to the south side of the building, but before you exit the south of the building, cast Stepguard. Walk across the damaging floortiles, and talk to the old man on the throne. He tells you how to get to the Demon King, you need three things; the Sun stone, the Rain Staff, and the Crest. Get those and go to the Sacred Shrine. FAIRY SHRINE Leave Mercado, go north to the bridge, cross the bridge to the west. Work your way to the south until the first bridge to your east. Take that bridge and work your way east until you see the shrine. Enter the shrine, and go upstairs. Talk to the Fairy Queen and she will give you the (Rain Staff). KOL On the northeastern most continent on the map is where the village of Kol is. Kol is on the northern part of the continent. In the well is a Pachisi track. Try to walk into the open air bath, the actual water(you can't). Search right there for a (Tiny Medal). Exit the open air bath building from the south side until you run into the trees. Search right there for (Pixy Flute). In the western house search the dressers for: (Cloth), and (Token). Take the stairs to the east upstairs for the Zipangu. Search the hanging sacks for: a (Token), and a (TinyMedal). Take your Oricon to this dealer. Leave town, and come back. The dealer will now be selling (Kings Sword) for 35000g. Go to the northwestern side for a treasure chest with a (Life Ring) in it. There are some stairs on the northeastern side, take those, and then head south for a (Ultimate Whip) in a treasure chest. The left side of the Pachisi track leads to a treasure chest with a (Light Dress) in it. RUBISS TOWER On the northeastern part of the map, is a string of islands between the two continents(use your Pixy Map to help out). The northeastern most island has a tower on it. This is Rubiss's Tower. This tower is also northwest of Kol. NOTE: You need the Pixy Flute before doing this tower. Once in the tower, head to the north. Before crossing the damaging tiles, cast stepguard(this should be standard practice by now). Open the door, and continue to the northern room for two treasure chests: right one (1016g), left one (Mimic). Head back to the intersection(right near that door you just opened), and take the western path. Take the first south you come to, for a room with some stairs up to the second floor. From the second floor stairs, go north, and take the first east you come to. Cast Stepguard and walk to the south, and then towards the middle for four treasure chests(from upper left to lower left going clockwise): (Life Acorn), (Love Ring), (Flame Boomerang), and (Life Acorn). Now work your way to the middle north of the room for four more treasure chests(from upper left to lower left going clockwise): (Str Ring), (Tiny Medal), (Mimic), and (960g). Work your way to the east, and there will be some stairs to the north once you are past the rotating tiles. Take those stairs up to the third floor. Head south to the some stairs to the fourth floor. Go north, and take the middle path for a treasure chest with (Light Armor) in it. Equip your hero with the Light Armor. Head back to the third floor now. Take the west at the intersection. You are now on the first floor(or at least I think thats what it is). Enter the tower(it is to your south). Head to the west, and take the stairs up. Head to your east, and take the stairs up to the next floor. Then take the next set of stairs up. Head south, and then go to the east at the end. Take the first north, and then open the door to your north. Keep going north. Walk up to the statue, and use your Pixy Flute. Watch the cool little scene, and Rubiss will talk to you. She will then give you the (Crest). CAVE SOUTHWEST OF KOL(TUNNEL) In the middle of the swamp at the bottom of the continent that Kol is on, there is a cave. Veterans of Dragon Warrior 1 will remember this is the tunnel to Rimuldar. Problem is the tunnel is not finished yet. You can talk to the miners who are building the tunnel though. This is more of an interesting place to visit for veterans of the series. SACRED SHRINE To the west of the Fairy Shrine is an island. In the middle of the island is the sacred shrine. Come here when you have the three items(Sun Stone, Rain Staff, and Crest). Take the three items to the Sacred Shrine(now that we have the three items, that is). Talk to the priest, and he will give you the Rainbow Drop. To the left of the priest below the left side cross is a (TinyMedal), if you search for it. RIMULDAR Sail just south from the tunnel southwest of Kol. You will come to another contintent. Walk southeast until you reach the enclave(use your Pixy Map to help). Walk around the outside of the town, to reach the house in the northwest corner. The two dressers have: a (Token), and a (TinyMedal). The vase has a (IntlSeed) in it. Talk to the old man, he plans on making Magic Keys. Go to the Inn, and search the dresser for (Toughness). At that point head east into the building. Talk to the prisoner about the secret in the Demon King's castle. Search the table in the prisoner's cell for a (TinyMedal). Enter the house in the northwest of town. The dresser there has a (Godlbeak) in it, and search the four vases for (TinyMedal), and (StrSeed). The house next door, to the east, has a dresser with a (Zen book) in it. RAINBOW BRIDGE Head northwest from Rimuldar. There will be a cape in the northwest corner of the continent, there is one space of ocean between this continent and the Demon King's island. Use the rainbow drops right there. You will get a nice little scene and then a bridge will appear. You can now cross over to the Demon King's island. Follow the only path that you can, be sure to cast Stepguard before entering the swamp, and then finally to your north will be the... DEMON KING'S CASTLE Enter the Demon King's Castle. Once inside the castle head to the eastern side. Eventually it will turn to the north, and finally west, and then south. You will notice two rooms to your right(ignore them). At the end of the hallway(going to the south) you will head east. Go halfway, and there will be a double door to your north. Enter that door. You will get locked into this room. Walk straight up the middle, and at the first set of statues, you will have to fight two GrndTitans. Beat them, heal up(if needed), and then walk up to the next set of statues, and do the same thing. There are three sets of statues to fight. After you beat all six GrndTitans, then the doors will unlock. Walk to the north, and open the door. CAST STEPGUARD NOW!! The throne room has some nasty damaging tiles in it. Walk behind the right hand side throne, and search behind it to reveal a set of secret stairs. You will be in a small room, take the next set of stairs down. You will be in a room with a path to the north, and a set of stairs down. Take the path to the north(the set of stairs down is your way back up if you fall down from the rotating tiles. I have a hint section at the top of this FAQ explaining the rotating tiles. There are three paths at the end of this room. There is a right, left, and middle. The right and left are dead ends. Head towards the middle one. You will find some stairs down. After taking the stairs, head to the west, and then turn to the south. You will notice to your west is a path running parallel. Once there is an opening to the west, head west to that parallel path, and take it to the south. At the end will be a treasure chest with the (2- edged sword) in it. By the way, the 2-edged sword is cursed, so you may not want to waste time with it. Head back to where you took the parallel path. Take that original path to the south. It will eventually turn to the east. Pretty quickly will be a break to the south. Walk through to the south, and then continue heading to the east. Follow the path to the east, then north, until you reach reach the set of stairs down. You will be outside a castle. Head north, and enter the castle. Turn to the east, and then follow the path. At the bridge you will see your father Ortega fighting the King Hydra. After the fight go up and talk to your dying father. He has a message for his son(thats you). It is a touching moment *sniff* Head to the north(ignore that small room to your east). At the end of the hallway turn to the east. There will be a room to your south. Enter it for some treasure chests. Going from far left to far right, the treasure chests contain: (TinyMedal), (Lifestone), (WorldLeaf), (Sage Rock), (Wizard Ring), and a (Mimic). Then exit this room, and continue your way to the east. At the end of the hallway head to the south. Along your way you will notice a room to your west(ignore it). At the end of the hallway to the south will be a set of stairs going down. Heal up NOW!! Head north to the top of the altar. The lamps will ignite, and Zoma will come up and talk to you. He will then sick his minions on you(typical, doesn't want to get his hands dirty). Your first fight is with King Hydra. Time to get some payback for your father. You should have your main character over level 50, and your others characters over level 40. Pretty standard, cast Increase, and Barrier on you, Defense on him(once), TwinHits on your best fighters. Have at least one character ready to heal at any point. After beating him, you head north from the altar, and you will have to fight BaraBomus. Same strategy for him. Then head north, and you will have to fight BaraGonus. Again use the same tactics. Walk north up to Zoma, he will talk a bit, and then its time to fight him. Use your light orb as your first thing, and then use the same strategy. There is one thing to notice, Zoma will cast some spell that will cancel out your spells, when he does this, cast Increase, Barrier, and then TwinHits on yourself again. Zoma is a nice long fight, keep yourself healed up. After you defeat him, he will tell you that evil never dies out. Time to get outta dodge, head back to the south. An earthquake will occur, and you will fall through a hole. You will then be spit out of the hole in the Hero's Cave(the cave southeast of Garin's house). As you exit the cave, you will notice land behind you crumbling. The sky turns bright as you exit the cave. Go see the king, and he renames you Loto. Watch the cool scenes, and the game ending. GAME OVER!!!!!! OR IS IT? SECRET DUNGEON After beating the game, bring up your saved game. There is something interesting, after your name is a word 'Loto'. Go to the Dragon Queen's castle, and in the middle northern part is some glass windows where the sunlight is shining through. Walk there, and you will be teleported to a floating island. To your north will be a cave entrance. Welcome to the first secret dungeon. You will recognize the floors in this cave, there are from different dungeons throughout the game, only you do most of them backwards. Inside the cave head to the north, then take the west for a small room with a treasure chest: (Mimic). Work your way to the east for a large room. There is a south exit(its empty). The north exit has a treasure chest (StrSeed). Head to the east then, and the path will turn to the north. Finally the path will turn to the west, and there will be an exit to the west, take it. Continue to the west, and there will be a small room to the west. Enter that room for a treasure chest (Bounce Staff). Exit this room, and head to the northeast. Hug the northern wall, and continue along to the east. At the end of the path will be a set of stairs down. On the second floor head south from the stairs, to the wall, then head to the west, and enter the room. From here head straight north, and exit to the north. Then turn to the west, and head straight west, and take the exit to the west. Cross the bridge to the west, and then take that immediate western exit. In this room, head to the north, and exit to the north. Head to the west now, and take the exit to the west. Head to the south here(just a little bit), and take the bridge to the west that you come to. Finally head straight north for some stairs down to the third floor. On the third floor, head to the west from the stairs, and then it will turn to the south. Hug the western wall as you go south. Ignore the exit to the west, and then east. Keep going to the south, and keep on the western side, it will eventually fork, and you want the western fork. The path will continue south for a bit, and then turn to the east. Once there is an opening to the north, take it. Head to the northeastern corner of this room. There will be an exit to the east with a small room with a treasure chest in it. The chest has (Gaia Sword) in it. Leave this room, and now head to the northwestern corner of the room for some stairs down to the fourth floor. On the fourth floor, head to the west, and then take the first north you come to. The head to the west, and at the wall, head to the south. At the end will be a treasure chest with (TinyMedal) in it. Now head north, and take the second east all the way to the wall. At the wall, head all the way to the north for some stairs down. In this room will be a priest who offers the normal priest services. Search behind him, facing the bed for a (Mystic Nut). Head back to the fourth floor. From these stairs, head south one intersection, and then head west all the way to the wall. At the wall head all the way to the north. At the end head to the east for some stairs down to the fifth floor. At the stairs on the fifth floor, head to the healing springs in the middle of the room to get back your health and magic points. Once you do that, then take the exit to the west. In this room take the exit to the north. Head all the way to the north, ignore the branch to the west(for now). At the end of the path, there will be a choice of east and west. In the eastern exit is a small room with a treasure chest that contains a (TinyMedal). Then take the west exit for a treasure chest that contains a (Sorrow Shield). Now head back down to the south, and we will be taking that path to the west which turns to the south, and exits to a small room with some stairs down in it. On the sixth floor, head to the west, and finally head to the north for some stairs up to... ZENITH Welcome to the dungeon of Zenith. In the second northern cell, search beside the corpse for a (Hero Book). In the next cell search the vase for a (TinyMedal). Take the stairs in the upper left hand corner to enter the Arena. There is a monster in the arena(it is one Baraevil). You can fight him if you like, walk around and take the stairs behind him. After taking the stairs, you will now be in the castle of Zenith. To the south of the king is some stairs down to a room with a cauldron. Exit this room to the south for... DIVINEGON TOWER Head up the ladder, and the go to your left. Enter the tower for two treasure chests: (TinyMedal), and (Ruby Ring). Exit where you came in, and this time head to the right side of the ladder. Enter the tower on the right side. Head north for some stairs up. On this floor head to the southwest(around the giant hole), and then walk the ropes east, and then south for a door. Go through the door, and you will be on the outside of the tower again. Head to the east for a ladder up. Then head to the east for an entrance into the tower again. Head to your west for a treasure chest that contains a (TinyMedal) in it. Head back, and take the first north you come to. Then head to the west, and south, then continue on to the west. At the end will be an exit from the tower to your south. Take that, and then follow the path to the east for a treasure chest which contains a (Wreck Whip). Equip the Wreck Whip on somebody, because it attacks all monsters on the screen fighting you(a very handy weapon). Head back into the tower, and head back to the east. Take the second north for a treasure chest that contains a (LuckShoes) in it. Now head back to the west, and take that first north for some stairs up. Head south on this floor, and work your way around the wall to the grassy area(either west or east, it does not matter). In the grassy area will be some stairs up. On this floor walk straight up north to meet Divinegon. Divinegon is the hardest boss you will ever face. He randomly attacks twice a turn, and randomly throws out an ice pulse to negate your spells. He also counts how many turns it take you to defeat him. For the first time, take your time(since the next time you have to beat that amount of turns). You can also select the Rare Medals selection(after defeating him), and then turning off your game, and the medals will be there. After you defeat him a couple of times, select the selection at the very bottom(it is blank), and that will open the way for the second secret dungeon. SECRET DUNGEON TWO Once you have selected that blank spot from your wish list from Divinegon, he will tell you go to Lamia's Shrine, and the way will be opened to a new land. Fly down to Lamia's Shrine, and walk up to where the egg was. There will be a portal there. This dungeon has the layout of like a spider with all of its legs going out in a different direction. To the south of the portal is an old man, who will grant you entry into the Ice Cave if you have the first 155 Bronze Medals(one of each kind). In the upper left hand corner path is a treasure chest which is a (Mimic). In the lower left hand corner path is a treasure chest that contains a (Starry Ring). In the lower middle(right hand side) path is a chest that contains a (Goddess Ring). The middle right side path has a chest (Mystic Nut). Once you have the first 155 Bronze Medals talk to the old man at the center of the secret dungeon. He steps aside and lets you enter. Enter for some stairs down. Take those stairs. Work your way around and at the north wall take the left. Then work your way around, and at the next choice head north for a treasure chest with a (Life Ring) in it. Work your way back towards the stairs, and this time take the right path. Work your way to the right, and eventually there will be an exit to the south. Take it for a treasure chest (LifeAcorn). Exit the room, and continue to the east. Go to the end(walk by the path to the south for now). At the end is a treasure chest (Hero Ring). Now go back and take that path to the south. Go to the end of the south path, take the last path to the east for a chest (Mystic Nut). Head north and take the last exit to the west for a chest (Str Seed). Now head north and take the next exit to the east. It will go around, and eventually head to the south. Take the exit to the south. Continue to the south, it will eventually end and turn to the south. Go all the way to the end(ignoring the path to the north for now), and a little north for a treasure chest (Str Seed). Head back and take the northern path. At the fork take the western path(the eastern path is a dead end). At the next fork take the northern path. Follow it around for a chest (Wizard Ring). Head back and take the southern path now. It will wind around, and head north for some stairs down. On this floor, head north, and then at the intersection go to the east. At the end is a chest (Str Seed). Head back and take the exit to the west. Walk across to the west, and you will notice a nice castle in the background. Exit to the west, and then head to the west, and then south and around for some stairs down. Walk east and talk to the old man. He demands you show him the First 155 Silver Medals. If you have those he will let you pass. He will ask you if it is impossible. Tell him yes, and then he will let you trade 2 Bronze Medals for 1 Silver Medal. ********************************************************************* Aliahan Town Armor Shop Item Shop Stick 5g Herb
